Frequently Asked Questions

What is the DSU Scholarship?
It is a regional "Right to Study" scholarship based on family income. It covers 100% of tuition fees, provides free accommodation (or rent support), and a yearly stipend of up to €7,000. Most Indian students are eligible.
Do I need to learn Italian?
For English-taught courses, No. However, we highly recommend learning basic Italian (A1/A2) before you go. It helps immensely with finding part-time jobs and socializing outside the university.
Are fashion schools expensive?
It depends. Public universities (like Polimi) are very affordable (€1k-€4k/yr). Private academies (like Domus, NABA, Marangoni) are expensive (€15k-€25k/yr) but offer direct industry connections.
